PTI candidates who could have further worsened the defeat of PML-N
Factually speaking, even without these seats, PTI still has considerable edge over its opponents.
(Web Desk) - Though Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) still needs assistance of some other members to form majority in the parliament, it has considerable edge over the opponents with almost 116 seats. PTI gave tough time to the preceding ruling parties, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). With a number of seats, it is evident that it will form next government in center. In a number of constituencies, it shocked its opponents. Some of other players of PTI if had won, it could have been another major blow to its arch-rival PML-N.
Usman Dar
Usman Dar was contesting against PML-N heavyweight and former Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif. Dar after giving a very tough competition in NA-73 lost this seat. He got 115,464 votes while Asif bagged 116,957 votes. Interestingly, a number of votes were rejected in this area which proved destructive for Dar.

Nisar Jutt
Nisar Jutt was leading from NA-106 and was close to beat PML-N’s bigwig and former Law Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah. Jutt got 103,799 votes while Rana could bag 106,319 votes. This undoubtedly could have been a major nightmare for PML-N keeping in view the fact that PTI already snatched multiple seats in the district.
Yasmeen Rashid
Yasmeen Rashid has been one of the prime leaders of PTI who has been giving tough time to PML-N in its stronghold. She was contesting from NA-125 against Waheed Alam Khan. She bagged 105,857 votes as compared to 122327 votes of Khan. Although she lost but PTI is considering giving her a big post, CM-ship of Punjab is also under consideration.

Aleem Khan
Aleem Khan could also have given PML-N a major set up it never thought of if he had won from NA-129. Khan got 94,879 votes against Former National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq who obtained 103,021 votes.
The above mentioned constituencies are those which if won by PTI could have further worsened the defeat of PML-N. PTI has requested recounting in NA-73 and NA-129. Factually speaking, even without these seats, PTI still has considerable edge over its opponent and it is highly probable that it will form next federal government.
