Indian media censuring Sidhu for meeting COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa
Indian media is ignoring the fact that Imran Khan has aspired to have friendly relations with India.
(Web Desk) – Indian media is severely bashing Navjot Singh Sidhu for attending oath taking ceremony of legendry and his old-time cricket fellow Imran Khan. Sidhu came to Pakistan with a lot of love, and received many fold in response. Baffled Indian media does seem to be confused and perplexed over the love Pakistani gave to Sidhu.
Indeed, some other renowned cricketers like Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar were also invited in the ceremony but they denied considering the threats they received from Indian extremists. Indian media is also following suit ignoring the fact that Imran Khan has aspired to have robust and friendly relations with India. Another factor that is perplexing them is Imran Khan’s popularity in India. Khan’s good offices can be used to maintain good relations with India, but that does not seem to be boding well for Indian media and their experts.

On the other side, another moment that has set Indian media on fire is Sidhu meeting with Pakistani Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Indian media kept on censuring him for even sitting with President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan.

Experts presented Sidhu’s meeting with Pakistani army chief with dissimilar viewpoints and indeed tried to intermingled facts with lies and fabrications. Sidhu in his press conference bluntly rejected Indian media conspiracy theories and added that he was in Pakistan for promoting love and harmony.
Khan aspiring to have good relations with India
Imran Khan in his victory speech has categorically said that Pakistan wants peace with India and is ready to talk with it even if Pakistan has to take first step. Good will gestures from Pakistan are being reciprocated with severe bashing. It is high time to start a new journey and Indian government does not need to act under pressure from Indian media.
