After centre and Punjab, PML-Q extends support to PTI in KP

Mufti Ubaidur Rehman, independent MPA-elect in KP Assembly, announces to join PML-Q.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – After centre and Punjab, Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) has announced their support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The decision in this regard was made by PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain who said his party would support PTI in Khyber Pakthunkhwa as well.

Shujaat was talking to independent MPA-elect in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mufti Ubaidur Rehman, who called on PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat and senior leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

Rehman and his associates on the occasion announced their decision to join PML-Q. Shujaat said the MPA-elect would serve as his party’s parliamentary leader in the provincial assembly.

The Chaudhry brothers after PTI s election victory met Imran Khan and congratulated him on the win. They also assured Imran Khan of PML-Q s all-out support for PTI in its bid to form government in the centre and Punjab.

The PTI chief lavished praise on the PML-Q leadership over their "historic" development projects in Punjab and said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif "ruined what you achieved during your tenure as the Punjab chief minister".
