Animal slaughtering continues on third day of Eid-ul-Azha

The people will enjoy delicious food and barbecue with their families and friends in the evening.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The faithful have continued to slaughter their animals on Eid-ul-Azha’s third day (Thursday) in the remembrance of Hazrat Ibrahim’s (A.S) sacrifice.

Those who were unable to perform animal slaughtering in last two days will continue to fulfill this religious obligation today.

The people will enjoy delicious food and barbecue with their families and friends in the evening.

On the other hand, majority of private schools in major cities is shut while government schools across the country have reopened after Eidul Azha holidays however, attendance is not up to the mark.

Government had announced three holidays for the purpose starting from Monday.

Attendance in offices and schools is quite low keeping in mind that it is the first working day after holidays adding to which is the fact that Eidul Azha is not over yet.
