Citizens had complained that the whole scenario is due to the inability and incompetence of K-Electric and Water Board officials.
Commenting on the matter, Water Board officials have said that city of Karachi needs 55 crore gallons of water per day for which new projects are underway but the water which has already been pumped out is also difficult to distribute due to various factors including shortage of electricity.
The KWSB had also launched a free tanker service but the affected people are not getting sufficient amounts.
