Water scarcity intensifies in Karachi, disrupts routine life
Managing Director of Water Board assured of supplying water to the affected areas.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Water shortage has continued to persist in Karachi as various areas including elite colonies are lacking clean water, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Water crisis in the metropolis is increasing day by day disrupting the routine life of residents whereas Karachi Water Board has geared up as per local government’s orders to supply pure water to the people.
According to details, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Landhi, Korangi, Orangi Town, Qasba Colony, Site area, New Karachi Defence and Shireen Jinnah Colony are among those worst hit areas whereas the ongoing water disaster has forced the locals to buy water on high prices demanding soon action to resolve the matter.
However, no proper solution to the problem has yet been devised.
On the other hand, Managing Director of Water Board assured of supplying water to the affected areas.
