Sindh governor upset over rising tanker accident deaths
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Expressing his sorrow over the death of three persons in a tanker accident, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has stressed the need for doing legislation on the issue.
Addressing a ceremony held to distribute prizes at Governor House, Tessori said tanker accidents were claiming lives on Karachi roads daily, adding when he raised voice against this ‘terrorism’ some people got annoyed.
“I am giving last warning to tanker mafia. We will make a strategy with the people how to check such accidents in future.
“Every time a new film is made on social media against me, and every time it flops. Those working for the welfare of people will succeed and their films will be popular,” the Sindh governor said.
A draw was held for the participants of the 23rd Iftar-Dinner at the Governor House.
Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner held a draw for a 120-yard plot. In the draw, Hasan Bilal managed to get the plot.
The draw for a motorcycle was conducted by the Consul General of Japan in which Abdul Rahman was given the bike.
Arshad Wali Muhammad and Hamza Naqvi conducted the balloting for a shop at ceremony. Muhammad Shahid won the shop.
