Karachi: Water shortage continues in different areas
Karachi is facing a shortage of at least 50 lac gallons
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Locals in different areas of Karachi are continuously facing portable water shortage for past few months while the Water Board is unable to cope with the prevailing situation.
Karachi is facing a shortage of at least 50 lac gallons due to power outages at Gharu Pumping Station. The affected areas include Landhi, Korangi, Shah Faisal Towns and Gulistan Johar. However, the areas Orangi, New Karachi, Baldia, New Karachi, Sarjani and Nazimabad are facing the issue for past few months.
The Water Board had launched a free tanker service but the affected people are not getting sufficient amounts.
