Some users were of opinion that Shah Rukh Khan's absence has diminished the excitement for the film

 MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Film producer Farhan Akhtar has officially announced that King Khan will not be appearing in 'Don 3,' charged up fans has been discouraged with such announcement as it was a shock for them.

Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to make the announcement regarding the Don franchise and revealed that the legacy of the Don film, which began with Amitabh Bachchan, has now reached Shah Rukh Khan, and the time has come to carry it forward.

 

In 1978, Amitabh Bachchan revived the iconic character of film 'Don' and later 'Don' was released with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011.

The storyline from the 1978 film 'Don' was preserved in its sequel and Priyanka Chopra played a role alongside Shah Rukh. The powerful performance was widely appreciated.

 

'Don 2' was released in 2011, and now, after a decade, Farhan Akhtar has announced 'Don 3', in which Ranveer Singh will be preforming the role of Don.

This announcement did not sit well with Shah Rukh Khan's fans, who do not want to see Ranveer Singh in the role of Don. Some users wrote that Shah Rukh Khan's absence has diminished the significance of the Don franchise.
