MUMBAI (Web Desk) - The much-awaited sequel to the popular Bollywood film Hera Pheri has hit a legal hurdle as T-Series has issued a notice claiming exclusive rights to the film's audio and visuals.

According to reports, the film has just gone on floors and is already in trouble due to the notice issued by the music company. T-Series claims to be the sole and exclusive right holder of all copyrights of all music and audio rights of the franchise film.

The official notice issued by T-Series reads, "Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (T-Series) is the sole and absolute owner of copyright in relation to the music and audio visual songs...for entire world in perpetuity for exploitation on all modes, media and formats...in the Hindi language film currently 'Untitled', to be released as a franchise of the HERA PHERI films."

Hera Pheri sequel, which stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Sanjay Dutt in a vital role, is slated to release this year. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film's release, but the legal tussle may delay the project's progress. It remains to be seen how the issue will be resolved and if the film will release on schedule.
