PTI govt left no choice for us but to take tough decisions, says Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice president Maryam Nawaz on Saturday while lashing out at former PM and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that the coalition government was left with no choice but to take tough decisions due to the wrong decisions of the previous government.

Addressing a rally in Green Town on Saturday ahead of PP-167 Lahore by-election rally, she said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was giving the incumbent government a tough time after the previous government didn’t deliberately implement the action plan agreed with the international lender.

Maryam Nawaz said that she was aware of the problems of inflation, adding that it was their responsibility to get the people out of problems. “Opponents thought that Maryam Nawaz would not come out in public now but she would be in the field whenever the people of the country are in trouble.”

The PML-N vice president went on to say that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif will steer the country out of the crisis, adding that the government will decreases price of petroleum products once the prices came down in the international market.

Take a dig at the former PM, she said Fitna Khan signed an agreement with the IMF and the international lender was giving a hard time to the incumbent government after previous government failed to implement the agreement.
