LAHORE (APP) - Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique on Sunday said the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, was making every effort to provide the best healthcare facilities to the people across the province.
The minister stated this during his visit to the laboratory of Services Hospital, where he reviewed the available facilities and inspected the overall working environment.
He expressed displeasure over the lack of cleanliness and improper functioning of the air conditioning system.
He directed the authorities concerned to ensure its immediate maintenance.
During his visit, Khawaja Salman Rafique met patients and instructed the hospital staff to provide the best possible medical care and facilities. He also directed the administration to maintain cleanliness in the laboratory and personally inquired from patients about the quality of services being provided.
The health minister said that ensuring the best treatment for patients visiting public hospitals remains the government’s top priority. He added that free and quality healthcare services were being provided to patients in government hospitals as part of the Punjab government’s commitment to improving the health sector.
Khawaja Salman Rafique reiterated that the provincial government was taking practical measures to further strengthen healthcare services and ensure a better experience for patients at public health institutions.
