(Dunya News) - Robbers deprived several citizens of cash, jewellery and other valuables on Bagh Korangi Bridge, Dunya News reported here on Wednesday.
The victims alleged that police were not far away when the bandits were looting them, urging the police high-ups to take measures for their protection from being robbed of belongings.
They protested alleged police inaction to control crimes in the area, claiming looting incidents on the bridge have become a routine matter.
They said the outlaws come to the bridge in groups and intercept vehicles before looting the passengers, adding the robbers snatched valuables from guests of a wedding party. They protested the robbery incidents and demanded arrest of the criminals. The citizens said the robbers tortured passengers and snatched valuables from women.
