Salman Khan tops Forbes India 2017 Celebrity 100 list, Virat Kohli on number three
Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan and MS Dhoni also booked their places in the top ten
(Web Desk) – Salman Khan has retained his top spot in the Forbes India 2017 Celebrity 100 list for the second consecutive year with INR 232.83 crore to his name as net earnings.
The 51-year-year Bollywood star topped the list despite the average performance of his movie Tubelight in the calendar year. His means of earnings include endorsements of a number of consumer-facing brands.
He was followed by Shah Rukh Khan with INR 170.50 crore. Virat Kohli was listed at number three. The 29-year-old was not only the youngest name in the top ten but also accounted for a remarkable amount of wealth with INR 100.72 in his net earnings.
Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni were the other two cricketers in the lineup at 5th and 8th position respectively. Ninth and tenth spots were occupied by Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh.
