Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulates Turkiye on its 102nd National Day, praising its progress and reaffirming Pakistan-Türkiye brotherhood at a grand ceremony in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and people of the Republic of Turkiye on their 102nd National Day, saying that “our hearts beat with our Turkish brothers and sisters.”
A dignified ceremony was held in Islamabad to mark the occasion, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended as the chief guest. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister Atta Tarar were also present.
Turkish Ambassador Dr Irfan Naziroglu, while reading out a message from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said that Pakistan and Turkiye enjoy close fraternal relations built on mutual respect and shared values.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the flags of Pakistan and Turkiye flutter proudly together in Islamabad, symbolising enduring friendship. He lauded Turkiye’s remarkable journey of progress and prosperity, describing it as a story of proud achievements. The Prime Minister also paid tribute to Mustafa Kemal Ataturk for laying the foundation of modern Türkiye.
