President Zardari, PM Shehbaz extend felicitations to Dunya News on 16th anniversary
LAHORE (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday extended felicitations to the Dunya News Network on its 16th anniversary.
The president congratulated Dunya News and its team on successfully completing its 16-year journey. He said the network had earned a prominent place in Pakistan's media landscape.
According to a statement, the president in his massage said Dunya TV had been providing authentic news and top analysis to the public for 16 years in a record time.
He added that the network’s role in current affairs, public and domestic issues and international news had been appreciable.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
In his message, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Dunya TV on completing its 16-year journey. He said the network had maintained journalistic values by providing positive reporting.
The premier said Dunya TV had also played a crucial role in delivering authentic news to the public.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi felicitated Dunya News Network on its 16th anniversary.
In his message, the minister said Dunya News had attained a significant position in the electronic media industry in Pakistan.
Naqvi said: "I congratulate Mian Amer Mahmood, chairman and chief executive, and his team from the bottom of my heart" for their achievement in such a short period of time.
"I pray for more success for Dunya News," Naqvi added.
