Resignation of Ch Nisar as PAC from chairman has been received in National Assembly secretariat.

Resignation of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan from chairmanship of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has been received in National Assembly (NA) secretariat, sources said on Monday.Opposition leaders in NA Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced to resign as Chairman PAC Sunday.Sources told Online Chaudhry Nisars resignation would be sent to the NA speaker who would take decision about the resignation.Sources said NA speaker Fahmida Mirza is abroad and acting speaker Faisal Karim Kundi could also take any decision in regard to resignation by exercising his powers.Sources said that resignation of Chaudhry Nisar would most probably be accepted and PPP was considering to appoint PAC senior member Yasmin Rehman, Nadim Afzal Chan and PPP information secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira as new PAC chairman.Prime Minister would nominate new chairman of PAC after consultation with President Asif Ali Zardari and others.
