LAHORE (Dunya News) – Another top leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parts with the party as former federal minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan has decided to join Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Khan met IPP leaders including Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan, and announced that he would formally join the party in Taxila in a few days.

Earlier on Tuesday, former PTI MPA Chaudhary Sajid Mehmood announced quitting the party while condemning the May 9 incidents.

“I condemn the anti-establishment statements of the PTI chairman and those responsible for the May 9 incidents should be punished at all costs,” he said.

He apologised to the party workers and announced parting ways with the former ruling party.
