Punjab governor urges PM to increase HEC funding for universities

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman met Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar at Governor House here in Lahore on Tuesday.
Matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
On this occasion, the prime minister expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development projects in Punjab.
Meanwhile, the governor highlighted less annual funding of Higher Education Commission for the universities in Punjab.
He requested the prime minister for help in improvement of financial matters and enhancement of universities’ funding.
