Gilani calls for 'elections in one go'

Former premier Gilani said we have no election alliance with anyone.
MULTAN (Dunya News) -- People's Party (PPP) leader and former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that all political parties want elections in the whole country simultaneously.
Talking to the media after the Eid prayers here on Saturday, he said that everybody wanted negotiation on the current political situation in the country. A meeting has been called on April 26 which would be attended by all political parties, he added.
Former premier Gilani said that the PPP is not a follower of Imran Khan. "We have no election alliance with anyone. We want elections in the whole country on the same day," he continued.
He greeted all the Muslims on Eid and said we should not forget the poor on the festive occasion.
He urged the people to remeber those who rendered sacrifices for the homeland.
