The Sindh govt has appointment a police official as deputy secretary after promoting him thrice.

As per details, Shahbaz Mughal was recruited as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) police and the Sindh government consecutively promoted him as Sub-Inspector, Inspector, DSP and then as SP in Grade 18.Meanwhile, the Sindh government has promoted him as Deputy Secretary Police Branch, in Sindh Home Department.According to the police rules, Shahbaz Mughal is confirmed as Sub Inspector while he has not been confirmed in any of the subsequent ranks.According to the sources, this time he was also illegally promoted as deputy secretary on the pressure of an important political personality.
