1,278 more coronavirus cases confirmed in KP

Coronavirus has claimed five more in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - At least 1,278 new coronavirus cases were confirmed while 5 more people lost their lives due to deadly virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours, Dunya News reported.
According to the provincial health department, the number of total active cases in the province had climbed to 8,232. With five more deaths on Friday, the toll has reached 5,994.
The health department also informed that 13,150 tests were conducted in the province during the last 24 hours, out of which 1,278 have proved positive. At least 88 patients have recovered from the disease in the province in the last 24 hours.
