Intermittent rain, snowfall continue in different parts of country

The current spell of rain, which began in the country on Saturday evening, is likely to end tonight.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Intermittent rain and snowfall continue in different parts of the country, intensifying cold.

According to the Met Office, the upper parts of the country, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, Upper Dir, Shangla, Buner; and coastal areas, including Turbat, Jiwani and surrounding areas of Karachi are receiving rain.

Dir has so far received the maximum rain of twenty-one millimeter. Mountainous regions, including Murree are also witnessing snowfall.

On the other hand, fog has continued to prevail in the plain areas of the country.
