PPP's Hassan Murtaza barred from election campaign over ECP code of conduct violation
No lawmaker can participate in election campaign: ECP
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has barred Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Hassan Murtaza from election campaign in NA-133 over violation of code of conduct.
According to the notification, ECP found PPP’s leaders reply unsatisfactory and warned him to not to participate in the campaign under any condition.
As per ECP rules, no lawmaker can participate in election campaign.
It merits mention that the commission had issued a show cause notice to Hassan Murtaza.
