Saif, Afzal and Shafi Khokhar summoned by FIA over links with land-grabbers
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle has summoned Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar, PML-N MNA Afzal Khokhar and Shafi Khokhar on December 7 over links with land-grabbing groups as well as money laundering.
The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle sent summons notices to the three leaders stating that the agency had information that they were not only supporting the land-grabbers in Lahore but also having ties with them.
The three leaders will be probed on their bank accounts, assets and money laundering as the assets they have disclosed do not match their income. Therefore, the FIA Anti-Corruption Circle has summoned the three to its office on December 7.
The summons says that if they fail to show up on December 7, it would be considered that the three have nothing to say in their defense and the Agency would go forward with legal action.
