He was wanted in connection with Greek boat tragedy
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gujranwala Zone FIA arrested wanted human smuggler identified as Saqib Jaja here on Thursday.
The FIA arrested Saqib Jaja, leader of notorious Khurram Jaja gang. The accused was wanted in 14 cases related to Greek boat accident.
The arrested suspect had illegally sent 14 Pakistanis to Greece via Libya, as a result of which 5 precious lives were lost, 5 victims were deported, while 4 people survived.
The accused hid in Iran for a year to avoid arrest and tried to get false bail upon his return, which the FIA had dismissed from the High Court and arrested the accused.
