Imran Khan labels Husain Haqqani's disclosures 'treason'
PTI Chief believes that Husain Haqqani was conspiring against the army
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Imran Khan on Friday declared that the disclosures made by Husain Haqqani were an act of ‘treason’. He also called it a conspiracy against the armed forces.
While talking to the media representatives at Islamabad Airport, the PTI Chief expressed concerns over Husain Haqqani’s article, memogate controversy and news leaks matter. “Husain Haqqani said the same thing as mentioned in news leaks," he added.
Imran Khan commented, “It is an old habit of our politicians to give hidden messages to India and America telling that we were with you, but the army opposed us.”
The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) asked the politicians not to defame the army. “If there is any trouble, talk to the forces," he said.
While agreeing with PPP Co-chairman on NAB’s biased nature, Imran Khan said that Asif Zardari s threat to the government was called for. He believes that a new era would commence after the decision on Panama Leaks case in Supreme Court.
He announced that he would file a case against ruling government over giving the contract of Port Qasim to Qatari business partner for merely Rs 200 billion. Imran Khan claimed that Syed Ahmed used to practice money laundering for the Sharif family and thus made the President of National Bank for his services.
