Punjab Assembly had passed 46 bills, the highest in all the provincial assemblies

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Third annual parliamentary report of all four provinces has been released on Monday according to which Sindh Assembly has left all the other provincial assemblies behind with respect to annual progress and performance passing the highest number of private bills, reported Dunya News.

Punjab Assembly members secured 4th place in terms of attendance and indulgence in assembly matters. As far as chief ministers (CMs) were concerned, Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif came up with the lowest attendance rate of 5pc.

Surprisingly, Sindh Assembly had been crowned as the winner with performance rate of 68pc, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) with 66pc while Balochistan had been placed at 4th position with 35pc of performance rate.

34pc of attendance rate had been reported in Sindh and Balochistan assemblies, KP with 32pc of attendance rate while Punjab had scored 13pc, the lowest attendance rate of all four assemblies.

Punjab Assembly had passed 46 bills, the highest number of all. Sindh Assembly passed 28 bills, Balochistan Assembly 23 and KP Assembly passed only 18.
