Dunya News

Locals said that the leaders should refrain from wasting time by arguing with each other.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Leaving behind all the other main issues, a hot debate on fixing manholes lids broke out in Karachi, reported on Monday.

All the political parties have started discussing and shuffling allegations on one another regarding fix it campaign. Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and named mayor of Karachi Waseem Akhtar accused Sindh government of doing dirty politics. He said that the administration has failed to provide relief to Karachiites.

Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani responding to Akhtar’s statement stated said that fixing the lids of gutters is responsibility of civic departments, not chief minister (CM).

Meanwhile, Nusrat Sahar Abbasi urged the district management to give all the powers to local bodies representatives.

MQM Khawaja Izhar Hassan also could not stop himself from commenting and said that he will accompany CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah wherever he will visit to monitor cleanliness in the metropolis.

On the other hand, the irked Karachi natives only demanded early solution to the problem and said that the leaders should refrain from wasting time by arguing with each other.
