Eid bonanza in Sindh with week-long holidays

Other provinces have holidays from March 31 to April 2 in line with federal govt's decision
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Government employees in Sindh are in for a treat as they will get eight holidays on the occasion of Eid.
The Sindh government on Tuesday issued the notification of Eid holidays from March 31 to April 2 in line with the federal government's decision.
Additionally, April 4 will be a public holiday to observe the death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Offices will also remain closed on March 29-30 (Saturday-Sunday) and April 5-6 (Saturday-Sunday).
It should be noted that in Punjab and Balochistan, Eidul Fitr holidays will be observed from March 31 to April 2.
Eid holidays announced for educational institutions across Pakistan
Meanwhile, the federal government has announced Eidul Fitr holidays for educational institutions.
According to the notification issued by the Federal Ministry of Education, the government schools will remain closed from March 31 to April 4, and the new academic session will begin on April 7.
The Punjab government also issued a notification stating that educational institutions will remain closed for three days, from March 31 to April 2, in observance of Eidul Fitr.
It is noteworthy that the Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted Eidul Fitr on March 31 (Monday).
