Bisma's death investigation report finalised

The police report says that Bisma didn't die due to Bilawal Bhutto's security protocol.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – The investigation report into the death of 10-month-old Bisma, who apparently died due to security protocol for PPP leaders at the civil hospital in Karachi, has been prepared, Dunya News reported.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah had directed the DIG south district last week to investigate the circumstances that led to the death of Bisma.

The child succumbed to some measles complications because she could not receive timely medical treatment due to the security cordon outside the hospital.

According to sources, the police report says that Bisma didn’t die due to Bilawal Bhutto’s protocol.

On Dec 24, the PPP leaders including Bilawal Bhutto and CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah were present inside the hospital to inaugurate a trauma center when the tragedy occurred.

The baby‘s father, Faisal, a resident of Lyari area has alleged that he was unable to bring the child to the hospital in time due to strict security protocol around the hospital.
