Processions will be monitored through aerial surveillance, CCTV, drone cameras, says Shuja Khanzada
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Home Minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada has said that the security plan for Lahore on Ashura is perfect and fool-proof. He said that the processions will be monitored through aerial surveillance, CCTV cameras and drone cameras.
While briefing the media on Sunday at DCO Office Lahore along with CCPO Lahore and DCO Lahore, Shuja Khanzada said that the arrangements for security throughout Punjab are satisfactory. He said that Lahore security plan for Ashura is perfect and helicopters given by army will also be used for aerial surveillance of the processions.
Shuja Khanzada told that 225 CCTV cameras have been installed throughout Lahore for monitoring the processions while drone cameras will also be used. He said that the security arrangements this year are better compared to those made the last year. Home Minister Punjab said that ban on exhibiting weapons will continue in Punjab after Muharram as well.
