LAHORE (Dunya News) – The M3 Motorway connecting Lahore to Jaranwala has been temporarily closed due to dense fog, authorities confirmed.
Motorway police announced that the decision was taken to ensure public safety and prevent accidents.
A police spokesperson advised citizens that the safest hours for travel in foggy conditions are between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. Drivers are urged to use front and rear fog lights during this period for enhanced visibility.
Motorway police also recommended avoiding unnecessary travel, maintaining safe distances between vehicles, and refraining from speeding to reduce the risk of accidents in low-visibility conditions.
Authorities stressed that these measures are essential for safeguarding commuters, and compliance is crucial until the fog clears and normal motorway operations resume.
