Not interested in caretaker premiership, says Asma
Asma Jahangir was talking to media on the occasion of Lahore bar elections.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir on Saturday said that she is not interested in caretaker premier’s seat.
She suggested that retired judges should not be included in the interim setup as well.
Asma Jahangir said tradition of general elections on time will bring an end to the trend of conspiracies against the democratic system.
Continuity of democratic process will improve the situation in the country, she added.
