After Salman Khan, Lawrence Bishnoi gives threats to famous Punjabi singer
(Web Desk) - Jasmine Sandlas - a popular Punjabi singer known for songs like "Illegal Weapon,’ ‘Muskan’ and ‘Yaar Na Miley’ from the Salman Khan and Daisy Shah film ‘Kick’ as well as "Illegal Weapon 2.0" from "Street Dancer 3D," - recently arrived in India for a concert.
She apparently got death threats, so her visit took a frightening turn.
According to reports, Jasmine Sandlas has received death threats from people allegedly connected to infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has also threatened Salman Khan and previously claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on May 29, 2022.
Shortly after she arrived in Delhi via the airport, according to NDTV, Jasmine Sandlas got these death threats. International phone numbers are said to have made the threats.
The threats were explicit and suggested there would be an attack at the venue where she is set to appear, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Notably, Lawrence Bishnoi had previously declared his intention to harm Salman Khan and said he would stop if the actor apologised to the Bishnoi community for his alleged role in the killing of a blackbuck while "Hum Saath Saath Hain" was being filmed in Jodhpur in 1998.
Sidhu Moosewala's terrible death at the hands of motorcycle-riding assailants in the Jawaharke village of Mansa has added to the intricate web of threats and violence inside the Punjabi entertainment sector.
