Three policemen injured in Chilas gun attack

CHILAS (Dunya News) - Three policemen were injured in a terrorists attack on a checkpost of Gilgit-Baltistan scouts here on Friday night, Dunya News reported.

A spokesman for the provincial government has said terrorists attacked a checkpost of Gilgit-Baltistan scouts in front of Chilas Hudur, injuring three policemen, who were admitted to Chilas Hospital.

According to the spokesman, Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister has taken notice of this cowardice attack and ordered for the arrest of the culprits at the earliest.

Police swiftly responded to the call about the attack and cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt for the fleeing militants. Law enforcers were collecting forensic evidence and recording statements from the eyewitnesses to reach out the perpetrators.
