Man kills four members of his family in Lahore village

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A man murdered four members of his family over a domestic issue in Village Heir here on Tuesday night, Dunya News reported.

Police responded to a call about the murder of four persons in the village. According to law enforcers, one Imran allegedly knifed his wife, daughter, nephew and father-in-law to death after an altercation with them, and escaped.

The gruesome murder of four persons sent a wave of shocks in the village, with people who expressed sorrow and grief with the bereaved family. Those slain in knife attack have been identified as Fozia, wife of the killer, Zanib, 15, daughter, Raza, 15, nephew, and Mirza, 55, father-in-law.

The suspect escaped after the incident. Police high-ups scrambled to the crime scene. Cantt SP Qazi Ali Raza said a police team has been formed to arrest the accused. He said a case has been registered against the suspected killer.

He vowed to bring the culprit to justice and ensure the bereaved family that they would be provided with justice after giving exemplary punishment to the perpetrator.
