KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have tracked down four robbers after encounters with them in different areas of the City.
First encounter took place in a Malir area where four robbers encountered with the police.
Police were given a tip that four robbers were hiding in the area and planning to deprive people of their cash and valuables.
Police reached the area. Catching sight of the police in the area, the outlaws opened fire on the police party.
Police gave response to their firing in a befitting manner and injured three robbers, who were later arrested.
Their fourth accomplice ran away. Police are investigating.
In another incident in Korangi area, a burglar was apprehended after a shootout with the police.
He was injured in an exchange of fire with the police and later was arrested.
He was identified as Shahrukh. Weapons and looted valuables were recovered from the outlaw. Further investigation continued.
