LAHORE (Dunya News) – An alleged robber was killed and his two accomplices ran away after a shootout with police in Shahdara area.
Police claimed that the alleged robber identified as Pervaiz alias Kana was involved in dozens of crimes and viewed as a symbol of terror in the area.
The police were informed that three burglars hiding in the area were planning to loot valuables and cash from the citizens.
The law-enforcers reached the spot. On seeing the police heading towards them, the outlaws opened fire. Police retaliated in an effective manner and killed a robber.
His two accomplices managed to escape. A passer-by was injured in the firing. He was shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police recovered arms from the dead robber and started investigation to arrest the fleeing robbers.
