Human remains dissolved in acid found in Mexico
An official at the forensic service said that we are identifying the remains.
PUEBLA (AFP) - Authorities in central Mexico have discovered barrels containing an undetermined number of human remains partially dissolved in acid, authorities said on Friday.
The Puebla state prosecutor s office said an undisclosed number of barrels containing "some" human remains were found in the municipality of San Andres Calpan.
An official at the forensic service, who requested anonymity, said that identifying the remains and figuring out the number of victims will take time as they were exposed to acid.
The prosecutor s office said the discovery may be linked to the disappearance of three men who went missing on Tuesday after gunmen stormed an illegal cockfight and opened fire in the nearby town of Cuautlancingo.
