Hasan Ali, Babar Azam rewarded in ICC ODI ranking
Hasan Ali made his way to the ICC's top 10 bowlers ranking for ODIs
(Web Desk) - Cricket fans all around the world have embraced Pakistan s triump against India in Champions Trophy 2017 final. International Cricket Council (ICC) has revised ranking after the tournament in which the green shirts players have been rewarded.
By improving his rank among other ODI bowlers, the Golden Ball winner as well as the Player of the Tournament Hasan Ali has made his way to the seventh spot. Also, star batsman Babar Azam, who scored 46 runs against India in final, has been promoted to the fifth spot.
Mohammad Hafeez played brilliantly against the arch-rivals as well as he scored a quick fired 57 in the latter overs. He has been promoted in the ODI batsmen s ranking to 20th spot. Also, he is the number two all-rounder at the moment.
Azhar Ali achieved the 31st spot in ODI batting while skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is now on 32nd spot. CT17 debutant and centurion in the India match, Fakhar Zaman, has appeared on the 97th spot.
Pakistan also improved its ranking as an ODI team by attaining the sixth spot. It was previously positioned at the eighth spot when the tournament had began.
