ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidency and briefed him on all dimensions of the ongoing US-Iran negotiations.
During the meeting, the prime minister provided a comprehensive update on various stages of the talks and took the president into confidence regarding developments in the diplomatic process.
He also shared details of Pakistan’s mediation efforts that contributed to progress in the dialogue and informed President Zardari about his upcoming official visits to Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
President Asif Ali Zardari, on the occasion, stated that the impact of war extends beyond the region, affecting global security, economy, and political stability. He appreciated Pakistan’s sustained diplomatic efforts in facilitating the US-Iran talks and praised the role of the prime minister, the field marshal, and all relevant state institutions.
