ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reaffirmed Turkiye’s full support for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's tireless and sincere efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
He made these remarks during a telephonic call with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday.
During their warm and cordial conversation, the Turkish President conveyed his heartfelt felicitations to the prime minister on Pakistan's historic peace initiative undertaken to end hostilities in the region.
President Erdogan commended the prime minister's bold and sagacious leadership in pursuing efforts to end the devastating conflict in the Gulf, which has caused immense human suffering and widespread destruction of infrastructure.

Later, in a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he received a warm and most cordial telephone call from his dear brother President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this evening.
He extended gratitude to President Erdogan for his kind words of encouragement and support for Pakistan's humble and sincere efforts for regional peace.
Shehbaz Sharif said that we shall continue to work tirelessly with our friends and partners, including Turkiye, in our common quest for securing lasting peace in the region.
