LAHORE (Dunya News) - Light rain accompanied by dust storm in Lahore in the wee hours of Thursday turned the weather pleasant for people in the month of Ramazan, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported from other parts of the country, including Chunian, Vehari, Sukheke, Kasur, Phool Nagar, Pattoki, Okara in Punjab and Quetta and Chaghai in Balochistan.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country and likely to grip upper/central parts of the country on Thursday and may persist during next 2 days.
Met Office has predicted rain and dust-thunderstorm during next 24 hours at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan divisions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bahawalpur, Multan, D.G.Khan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi divisions in Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir while at isolated places in Quetta, Kalat, Zhob divisions and Gilgit Baltistan. Hot and dry weather is expected in elsewhere in the country.
