Elections 2018: Actress Gul-e-Rana in streets to convince her voters
The country has given us respect, fame and wealth, now the time arrives to pay back', Gul-e-Rana.
(WebDesk/DunyaNews) - Not only veteran politicians, party workers and supporters, election frenzy have taken over artists and actors too.An artist‘s soft image plays an immensely influential part in attracting voters and gaining support of masses. In general elections 2018, Pakistan peoples party has given quite a number of tickets to artists and actors, paving their ways to become a part of political discourse.
PPP along with veteran actors and social activists, Sajid Hassan and Ayub Khoso has also given a arty ticket for the provincial assembly to the female supporting actor, Gul-e-Rana for PS 94 of Lyari.

Female actor Gul-e-Rana is also set to run her election campaign in full swing. Gul-e-Rana is quite known actor, who has performed in many drama serials but it is her political debut in elections 2018.
Gul-e-Rana is a member of Karachi People’s party cultural committee and is awarded the party ticket to contest from PS 94 in general elections 2018.

Many of the admirers and friends advised not to partake in politics , said Gul-e-Rana.
‘The country has given us respect, fame and wealth, now the time arrives to pay back what we have earned from our homeland’, actor Gul-e-Rana pledged.

Some of the female voters are peeved and disgruntled and they are not wrong even but when they speak to them about their reservations and concerns to us, they listen to us patiently and encourage us to take their problems to the power corridors after winning the forthcoming elections 2018 , Gul-e-Rana told Dunya News about the female voters’ attitude of the locality while she is campaigning door to door.

She further said that the artist is supposed to be the ambassador of peace. She is not a typical politician. She hopes her people will give her a chance to serve them.
While talking to Dunya News during her door to door campaign in PS 94, Gul-e-Rana said the promises, she is making to her voters and supporters; she will try to fulfill them. She has no other intention to plunge into the business of politics other than serving the people.

Gul-e-Rana intends to resolve the issue of water shortage and ensures the availability of clean drinking water at least for the Lyariittes.
In 2013, MQM leader Waqar Shah has taken the seat comprises of many UCs of Lyari for which female actor is quite anticipated and enthusiastic in elections 2018.
