No one can control me as I am independent now
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Reham Khan, former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that she is not working on anyone’s agenda.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News, she said that she won’t stop due to her character assassination, in fact she would face every court.
Former BBC Weather girl claimed that she wasn’t working on anyone’s agenda, adding that she would bring her book to the market whenever she wanted.
“No one can control me as I am independent now,” she added.
Accusing actor Hamza Ali Abbasi of running Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s campaign after taking envelops, she said that Abbasi was defaming his own leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.
On Monday, Reham Khan’s former husband Ijaz Rehman, former cricketer Wasim Akram, British Pakistani businessman Zulfi Bukhari and Anila Khawaja, female activist linked with PTI sent legal notice to PTI chairman Imran Khan’s ex-wife over her controversial book.
The pandora box opened when actor Hamza Ali Abbasi took to social media and claimed that he had somehow read the manuscript of book written by Reham Khan.
Earlier talking to Dunya News bureau chief for Europe Azhar Javed in London, Reham Khan had denied meeting Maryam Nawaz and receiving money from Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif.
Reham Khan said that her book revolves around the character related to her life.
Reham Khan also alleged that he email was hacked and added that Hamza Ali Abbasi would go to jail for his childish escapade. She also urged Chief Justice to take notice of the situation.
On the other hand, according to actor and PTI activist Hamza Ali Abbasi, the former BBC presenter in her book has declared Imran Khan as the most evil man to walk on the face of the earth while Reham herself is the most pious, righteous (Tahajjud guzaar) woman ever and Shehbaz Sharif is an amazing guy.
Hamza Ali Abbasi further said that there is a big agenda behind the book and added that the timing of the publication of the book is also very important and significant.
The book will be published just before the general elections in Pakistan.
