About 52 persons were killed while 11 others were injured when a Muzaffarabad bound passenger bus plunged into river at Budhiara near Gari Dopta on Thursday. Giving further details of the fatal accident the official sources said that out of 52 dead persons, the bodies of 12 people have been retrieved while the search for the recovery of others was underway. The dead who were identified were: Muhammad Javid S/o Hashmatullah, Haji Perviz S/o Safdar Ali, Muhammad Shafiqe S/o Muhammad Nawab khan, Kalsoom Bibi W/o Muhammad Tahir, Uzma Bibi W/o Captan Saeed, Saryab S/o Ali Akbar, Muhammad Saneel S/o Muzaffar, Fatima Bibi D/o Muhammad Shafee, Muhammad Khateeb Qurashi, Tusif Abbasi S/o Muhammad Shaffee and Mazhar Rafiq. The injured who were taken to the hospital were identified as Muhammad Mushtaq S/o Shah Zaman, Amjad S/o Abdul Karim, Muhammad Asghar S/o Muhammad Mazhar, Muhammad Kalo S/o Lal din, Nasir ali S/o Siraj Khan, Muhammad Saeed S/o Tikka, Adibunisa, Noor u dine S/o Shaffee, Muhamamd Pervaz S/o Imam Din, Muhammad Aftab and Pervaz Akhter S/o Nazir Muhammad. Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Ateeq Ahmad Khan constituted a committee to probe the incident and announced compensation of Rs.50,000 each for deceased and Rs.25,000 each for wounded.
