Martyred FC chief Safwat laid to rest in Peshawar

Safwat Ghayyur, Frontier Constabulary chief who got martyred in a suicide attack on Wednesday, has been laid to rest in Peshawar on Thursday. Earlier, Safwats funeral prayer was held at Police Lines, Peshawar. The deceaseds body was brought to Police Lines with full official honour where Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Qwais Ghani, Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, PML-N Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, PPPs Aftab Sherpao, provincial ministers with ANPs senior leadership were present to pay homage to the martyred. Talking to media after the funeral, CM Hoti while paying homage to the deceased said that Safwat was an audacious and upright human being, adding that, his martyrdom invoked a new spirit into the forces.
