Punjab-Sindh border sealed, as crackdown on PTI workers continues

Summary Containers, trenches, barbed wires used to block PTI convoys

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- As the tide rises pertaining to the ‘Azadi and Inqilabi’ marches, all ‎endpoints leading to Islamabad and Rawalpindi are sealed, and the Sindh-Punjab border has been closed down. The ‎crackdown on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) activists in several cities of the Punjab led to the arrest of ‎hundreds of party workers.

Sindhi convoys blocked from crossing the ‎Punjab-Sindh border and containers have been placed everywhere.‎Convoys coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been blocked ‎whereas routes leading to exit points have been also been blocked by ‎containers and barber wires.‎

Police and other security personnel have been deployed at all checkpoints aided by containers, barbed wires and du-in trenches to obliterate the passages of PTI activists as well as party workers.
