Inaugurating the newly evolved health insurance scheme if BISP (Benazir Income Support Program), he reminded that despite ‘these predictions’, the present regime had managed to complete four years of its tenure, while President Zardari was able to address the joint sessions five consecutive times.While issuing warning to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Director regarding chemical quota scandal, the PM said that director should avoid taking steps which never have been adopted by any other.He contended that rules and regulations enunciated by the civil government should be followed.He said that the officers appointed by deputation are not authorised to dictate the government. Nobody has right to violate law; rather everyone should render services within the limits of the constitution, he retreated.He said that lists of people who have been in meeting with him are being investigated.Throwing light on the background to the PPP, he said that he is not among those who had left party due to internal and external pressure.Criticising the PTI, he said that people have conceived the result of tsunami in by-polls.He said that all the predictions of political pundits regarding dissolution of regime were proving to be fake, hoax.He also expressed his chagrin at conspiracies hatched against Senate and by-elections, but “all sailed smoothly through and those warning of tsunamis were proven wrong “, adding that nobody seemed to have learned their lessons, yet.PM Gilani said that this project of life and health insurance for poor was one of his most cherished dreams, and lauded the BISP as a global level program, evolved for providing free education to 3 million children.He assured that there would be no special references or favoritism required for this program, which the Provinces failed to copy.He reminisced that initially, BISP seemed to be quite daunting of tasks, which was accomplished by forming a board of serving ministers.“For the first time ever, every MNA was provided with 8000 forms each in true spirit of democracy”, he said, adding that government had to face an intense spat of National and global criticism, which was solemnly faced.
